K N GOPALAN NAIR

K N Gopalan Nair was a shining personality in the field of art and litreture, he was a journalist and a lawyer. He was one of the most famous bibliographers in Kerala. K P S Menon, MAXIMGORKY, Sardar K M Panicker, John F Kennedy, Kennethanterson, Sir Arthur Conan Doyal, Emily Zola, Perla S Buck, SK Day, Peter Harvard, Godfrey Laius and TJ As George have translated their books into Malayalam. He was the founder and first president of Ettumanoor Service Co-operative Bank. He was a liberation fighter. He has also made his mark in the field of Screenplay and Acting. He has written and published the famous play Vettanaikkal. He has accepted USIS invitations and has toured in foreign countries such as the US, Canada and Japan.

Gopalan Nair married his cousin Sharada (daughter of Shankara Pillai) as mentioned before. An established lawyer, he was well known and active in various domains such as of Art, Literature, Co-operative movement and journalism. He made his mark in journalism during a long stint as Publishing House Manager at Malayala Manorama.
